Spring 09 started slowly with no Grade A's on the scene, so our focus has been on the youngsters. Walk Tall, now 7, continued to impress and with good results throughout the year, he's gained qualification to HOYS in both the Grade C and the 7&8 year old classes. Recently he has won big classes at Moreton and Henley as well as jumping 180 to finish 2nd in a 6 Bar at Newbury. At Addington's Young Horse Champs Walk Tall also finished third in the final and was the second best British bred 7 yo, this led to an invitation to Lanaken, the World Breeding Champs.
News on Sales Step in Time with Sian Price turned Grade A and gained good results in Stairway Grand Prix and IT classes through the year. Molly Malone, also with Sian jumped clear every day to gain a good bonus prize at Addington Manor during the Young Horse Champs. She also went on to finish 4th in the final and was selected for Lanaken. Both horses were home bred and sold to Sian within the last couple of years. Upperten was sold to Robert Beris at the end of last year and Rob has had numerous wins and placings on the county circuit.
